Fees
Wellspring Retreats are $3,950 for the 8-day program. Fees must be paid no later than one week prior to the start of the program. A $500 deposit is due with your reservation to confirm your place. The deposit is applied towards the program fee.
Gear fee:
Wellspring provides all camping equipment as part of the program fee. However, to ensure that all guests have the gear they need to participate in all activities, Wellspring also provides water bottles, workout clothing, T-shirts, socks and a backpack that you will take home with you. The fee for this gear is $200.
Refundable fee:
An additional $500 refundable fee is required for the 3-month after-care program. Guests who are successful in self-monitoring at least three food items (along with calories and fat grams) for 70 of the 90 days following your Retreat, the cost of the after-care program will be refunded to you in full.
These fees include all costs except: (1) Travel to the program and (2) Optional spa treatments at the resort(s).
Affordability
There are two reasons Wellspring Retreats are more affordable than any other weight loss vacation: Insurance reimbursement, and the availability of loans to pay off the cost over time. Insurance reimbursement Because health insurance plans vary greatly, Wellspring cannot guarantee that any portion of the fee will be reimbursed by health insurance providers. However, many Wellspring guests successfully receive health insurance reimbursement for a significant portion of their tuition fees because individual and group cognitive-behavioral therapy sessions are central to the Wellspring program.
The clinical component of Wellspring includes a psychological assessment and cognitive-behavioral counseling sessions.
These services can be categorized as either “mental health” or “health” (“medical”) treatments and varies depending upon provider, plan, and benefits.
Typically, guests with PPO plans are more likely to receive reimbursement for a portion of the clinical component of the program.
At the end of the Retreat, Wellspring produces and submits a statement to your health insurance. The statement won’t come from Wellspring. It will come from the therapist.
Wellspring uses a private billing agency to bill insurance companies directly for reimbursement. If preauthorization is required, Wellspring will determine this and, where possible, ensure that treatment is preauthorized.
Treatment at Wellspring is not considered inpatient care despite the fact that guests are in residence, nor should our services ever be represented as such.
Questions to Consider in Determining Likely Reimbursement from Health Insurance:

Please note that the reimbursement will be sent to Wellspring, and Wellspring will immediately process a check for you for the amount of the reimbursement received, less a 6% administrative fee paid by Wellspring to the insurance billing service.
Loans
Wellspring offers financing for guests wishing to pay off the cost of the Retreat over a number of months or even years. Loans can reduce the cost of a Wellspring Retreat to less than $40 a month.

Travel
Wellspring Retreats pick up and drop off at indicated airports. On your registration forms, you will indicate your flight number and time, and a Wellspring representative will meet you at baggage claim.
