But what about the rest of us? We don't have fitness trainers encouraging us from morning til night, nor can we focus entire months of our lives on weight loss like on The Biggest Loser. Plus, if you ever had a gym membership or participated in fitness classes, you know sustainable weight loss is about more than a good workout.
To lose weight and keep it off, you need a realistic approach that integrates fitness, diet, culinary, and lifestyle change. At Wellspring Camp La Jolla, that's what you'll get-along with the skills and motivation to continue your healthy new lifestyle for the rest of your life.

At the start of your weight loss vacation, you'll learn the renowned Wellspring Plan. You'll receive textbooks, a pedometer and a self-monitoring journal to get you started on a vacation of fun, inspiration and motivation.
Every day, you'll work with our staff of fitness trainers, activity specialists and Wellspring Behavioral Coaches (masters- and doctoral-level therapists) who will introduce you to the weight loss diet and activity changes you can continue at home. You'll also learn the Wellspring culinary program so you can continue preparing many of the same wonderful low-fat, low calorie-density meals when you return home.
The experience concludes with a set of final assessments and a plan for home developed with your Wellspring Behavioral Coach.
After you return home, you'll continue working with your Behavioral Coach for the next three months in an intensive online Continuing Care Program.
